I can’t get over the vibrant illustration work of Louise McNaught. More specifically, her drawings and paintings featuring nature as the subject and then neon colors added randomly (or maybe not so randomly) to them. It’s the contrast of almost of the technical rendering of the subject and then the color just pops out inviting us in for a second, or third look. I just can’t get enough. And if the work alone isn’t enough, she also has an Etsy shop!
By drawing the viewers attention to the animals presence and energy, McNaught is hoping to share with the viewer the awe that the natural world inspires within her.
